| Remarks | tuition fees will have an increase of Rs 5,000 every yr laterFor first 3 years, the course will consist of 4 segments:Foundation courses in EducationCore subjects which include English (Compulsory), Punjabi (Compulsory)/ History and Culture of Punjab.Optional Subjects: The student is required to take up 2 elective/optional subjects from the 9 options listed are 1) English 2) Hindi 3) Punjabi 4) History 5) Geography 6) Economics 7) Political Science 8) Sociology 9) MathematicsGeneral Practicum will be split into three sections: i) School related Practicum ii) Life Skills Training iii) Tutorials After 6 Semesters, in the 4th year the students will have 2 options: Those who want to have Degree in Bachelors of Education B.Ed (Elementary) will have to put in 2 more semesters with a focus on pedagogical focus on secondary school level.For both these options an internship of 2 months will be compulsory. |
